5th Hole Swale:
Shane and the course team will construct a small swale near the front t of the 5th green, in January. This will be done at no cost to the club and should take 2-3 weeks. This will strengthen the hole after the loss of the overhanging gum limbs last year.
18th Fairway Extension:
The carriageway in front of the bushes of the Men’s Tee, will be reduced to increase the landing zone off the tee, early in the New Year.

Snake Alert:
When searching for balls, please be aware that tiger snakes are present and like to coil themselves around the tussocks of the undergrowth. Any sightings should be reported and the ‘snake man’ will remove and relocate the snakes. Snakes are protected species and should not be addressed with your 3 iron!
Jack Williams Shelter Operation on Sundays
Due to continuing losses and poor patronage, the Jack Williams shelter at the 10th Tee will no longer operate on Sundays. A cart will be left there at 10.30am to obtain food and drink from the Pro Shop. A drink vending machine has also been ordered and is expected in early January.

Tuition Corner
When working on your game, hitting balls until your hands bleed is all well and good, but not the only answer to improving your scores. You need to practise effectively. Take some time to get out on the course after hours and take advantage of the fantastic facility we have out there. Play games against yourself or a mate and try and replicate the pressure you are under during competition. This is a true test of how well you are improving.
The summer break is a great time for all of us to work on improving our games. If you or your golfing mates are looking for a great Christmas gift idea, come in and see the proshop for a lesson voucher.
