All members and guests will be greeted with a cordiality and friendliness, commensurate with the expectations and tradition of Long Island Golf Club.

Players are requested to be ready 15 minutes before scheduled tee time.
Walk quickly between shots and call faster players through.
Remember your position in the field is immediately behind the players in front, not merely in front of the players behind.
All players to carry sand bucket. Please repair all divots in fairway and rough.
Please repair pitch marks on greens and rake bunkers after play.
Player only to look for lost ball. If in doubt, play a provisional.
Green staff has right of way.

Smoking is not permitted in the clubhouse.
Long Island Country Club complies with the Responsible Service of Alcohol Practices.

Mobile phones must remain on silent at all times & are not to be used in the bar, lounge and dining areas of the Clubhouse. They may only be used in the locker rooms & car park.
Mobile Phones must remain on silent during any competition play.
